Cowboys-18 Redskins-16

Before the game I was proudly saying the Redskins would beat the Cowboys by 10 points. Boy, I was in for a disappointment.

The Skins played a good game overall. D Hall blew some coverage, like always, but my biggest fish to fry- Rex. Grossman.

How the HELL does someone play that bad?!? He  should have been picked off 4 times, twice by Newman, once by Mike Jenkins, and the actual interception went to Alan Ball. He fumbled the ball on the final play of the game. The final meaningful play that is. His accuracy was HORRENDOUS and he consistently made bad decisions, especially by throwing to Jabar Gaffney in the middle of the field 2 times on the final drive.

I am bitter, to say the least, and I honestly can’t wait until John Beck earns the starting job. I’ve been cheering for Beck since before the first preseason game, and I can only pray he gets the job soon.

“RUDY! RUDY! JOHN BECK! JOHN BECK!”

First things first…

It’s been months and today is my first REAL post…sad, yes, but it’s time for me to get started. I am writing this as the Colts and Steelers play in the week 3 Sunday night football game. The Steelers O is looking kind of…bad, while the Colts D is showing up. Roethlisberger has thrown a pick and fumbled twice, one of which was returned for a TD. Freeney and Mathis are both getting to Big Ben. Meendenhall hasn’t done much, which leads me to point in one major direction for the falter of the Steelers so far: The o-line. Look for the Steelers to come out shaky, leading to a close win for Pittsburgh.

UPDATE: Never mentioned how bad Kerry Collins was playing..he’s been very inaccurate, missing most of his receivers

Welcome!

Hello everyone and welcome to The Burgundy Blogger. My name is Zachary Miles, and I’m here to talk football. Thank you for coming and reading my blog, and I hope you guys enjoy everything throughout the season. I am a Redskins fan first and foremost, but overall, I’m just your average football fan trying to make it big.
